Christianity and revolution: radical christian testimonies 1520-1650
Studies in the Radical Reformation continue to grow in number with each passing year. This fact reflects not only the response of scholars to the quantity of primary sources discovered and published in recent decades but also the shifting center of gravity in world Christianity. On the mission fields and among the younger churches, from which delegates at ecumenical conferences and councils play a much larger role then they did even a generation ago, there is a pronounced sense of recapturing and reliving the life and spirit of New Testament and Early Church.
